Informed Movement: Finding Balance Through Pregnancy

regarding form

This 10-hour virtual workshop has been designed to comprehensively equip movement and fitness instructors to best serve prenatal clients. Over the course of two days, we will discuss the most pertinent physiological changes that unfold over the course of a pregnancy, and explore how these changes can affect a pregnant client’s experience in your class. While acknowledging that every pregnant client has unique needs and goals, we’ll examine exercises from a variety of movement modalities, discuss appropriate modification strategies, and explore practical movement progressions to cultivate more balance within the musculoskeletal system during pregnancy.

This workshop is optimal for movement instructors of any modality who want to increase their confidence in working with the pregnant population, but is also suitable for anyone (including those who are currently or planning to be pregnant) with a sense of curiosity on this topic.
